Joined the Firm as an associate attorney in 1990 and was elected partner in 1997.
Mr. Drechsler serves as a Member of the Firm’s Executive Committee.
Mr. Drechsler is Partner in Charge of Buckingham’s Cleveland office, and was the former Litigation Practice Group Leader for Cleveland.
Mr. Drechsler’s areas of Litigation practice include Intellectual Property, Commercial/Business, Inheritance Controversy/Probate, Real Estate and Employment.
Mr. Drechsler handles cases before Federal and State courts and has vast experience in the following matters:
Patent, trademark and copyright litigation
Trade secret, non-competition and unfair competition
Business and commercial disputes
Employment discrimination disputes, including race, age, gender and sexual harassment
Complex probate matters including will and trust contests and breach of fiduciary duty cases
Real Estate disputes including commercial landlord/tenant disputes
Several class actions including cases involving RESPA, RISA and Shareholder derivative suits (recently prevailed in having class certification motion denied in multi-million dollar RESPA case before the Federal District Court, Northern District of Ohio)
