Marcos A. Gonzalez is a well known, South Florida attorney, practicing in the Personal Injury field since 1979. He is Board Certified in Civil Trial Law since 1994. He is admitted to practice law in Florida, Federal Court and the Southern District of Florida, where he has been involved in Civil Rights and Constitutional Violation cases.
Marcos Gonzalez has worked on thousands of cases ranging from Automobile and Premises Liability to Medical Malpractice and Product Liability, which resulted in millions of dollars recovered for his clients. Marcos has been involved in at least 150 jury trials, as lead or co-counsel. In 2000, he attained the third highest jury verdict in Broward County.
Marcos Gonzalez was born in Havana, Cuba and has lived most of his life in the Miami area. He graduated from Hialeah High School and obtained his undergraduate degree from Florida International University, where he was one of the first athletes to achieve national ranking in 1975-1976. Marcos received his law degree from the University of Florida, in 1979.
Marcos is actively involved with the American Cancer Society and several Catholic charities. He is a member of the Knights of Columbus.
Marcos has a daughter, Liza Marie. He enjoys spending time with her and his three grandchildren, Mimi, Marcos and Michael, outdoor activities, horses and sports.
