Sarah Dorner is an Associate in the Birmingham office and a member of the Wealth Management & Employee Benefits group and Healthlaw section. As part of her employee benefits practice, she counsels employers on a wide variety of employee benefits concerns, including qualified and nonqualified retirement plans, health and welfare benefit plans, and tax and ERISA compliance. Ms. Dorner also advises clients regarding employment agreements, severance arrangements, and other executive compensation issues.
Her wealth management practice includes advising clients regarding their estate planning needs and preparing wills, trusts, and other documents related to their estate plans. She also assists clients with estate and trust administration.
Ms. Dorner received her B.S. in Psychology from Mississippi State University in 2005, and her J.D. from The University of Alabama School of Law, summa cum laude, in 2009. While attending The University of Alabama School of Law, Ms. Dorner was member of the Alabama Law Review, was named a Hugo M. Black Scholar, and received the Dean M. Leigh Harrison Award.
