Barbara (“Barb”) Doubt has been employed by Lisa Marie Vari & Associates, P.C. since 1997.  First Ms. Doubt acted as a secretary in our office and advanced to a paralegal position.  Most recently, Barb has been promoted to office manager.  Barb has been the comforting voice that clients have heard on the phone for the many years that she has been employed by our law firm.  She is intimately familiar with many of the divorce, custody, support and other legal documents that are prepared on behalf of our clients or received in connection with our Pennsylvania family law cases and how those documents are processed through the various Western Pennsylvania county courts.

Barb was previously employed by Allegheny County Family Division where she served as the Administrative Assistant to the Court of Common Pleas, Family Division Administrator.  Barb is a graduate of Bradford Business School where she obtained a paralegal certificate.  Barb was awarded top certificates for speed typing and shorthand.

Barb is divorced from her first husband, and on August 2, 2003, was remarried to Tom.  Barb is the mother of three grown children and two step-children.  She is also the proud grandmother of ten grandchildren.  Barb loves to spend her spare time camping, fishing, boating, and spending quality time with her grandchildren.
