I earned my Bachelor's degree from the University of New York at Brockport and my Juris Doctor Degree from Touro Law Center. In law school I was a member of Moot Court and received awards for Academic Excellence in Legal Methods II, International Law, and Judicial Clinic. Upon graduation I returned to my native State of Florida and in 2004 became an Assistant Public Defender with the 19th Judicial Circuit Public Defender's Office, where I handled thousands of misdemeanor and felony cases and conducted numerous jury trials.
