Adam Gillette represents clients in business disputes such as breach of contract and shareholder disputes. Adam has also handled a variety of employment cases including employment discrimination and retaliation, sexual harassment, NASD arbitration agreements, and breach of contract. Adam has tried to verdict, as first or second chair, sexual harassment claims, age discrimination claims, contract claims, breach of fiduciary duty claims, and failure to pay wages claims.
Adam is a graduate of Marquette University and a 2003 graduate of the University of Minnesota Law School. While attending the University of Minnesota Law School, Adam was a research assistant to Professor Stephen Befort. Adam co-authored with Professor Befort two articles on the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act (the federal plant-closing law), as well as a continuing legal education lecture on 2002 Supreme Court decisions in employment law. Adam has spoken nationally on the Americans with Disabilities Act.
Adam is a former president and board member of Minnesota NELA, the Minnesota affiliate of the National Employment Lawyers Association. Adam is a member of the American Bar Association, the American Association for Justice, the Federal Bar Association, and the Minnesota Bar Association. Adam is the only attorney at Fruth Jamison & Elsass P.A., to have been profiled in Billboard magazine .
