Derrick joined Fishman McIntyre, P.C. in September 2008. He began his career as Law Clerk for the Honorable John Pisansky, J.S.C. from 2001 to 2002. Following that position, he served as a Law Clerk in the firm of Garrubbo, Romankow, Rinaldo & Capece, P.C. in Westfield, New Jersey. Derrick joined the firm of Russo & Della Badia as an associate in 2005 where he remained until 2008. He handles a wide array of insurance defense litigation, including automobile, commercial, general liability, premises liability and coverage matters. Derrick graduated from The College of New Jersey in 1988 earning a B.S. in Business Administration. He attended the New York Law School where he earned his juris doctor degree in 2001. Derrick is a member of the Union County Bar Association where he presently serves as the Young Lawyer Trustee. He is also a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association, New Jersey Defense Association, Insurance Council of New Jersey and the American Bar Association.
