A pragmatic attorney, former president of a successful property tax investment concern, and municipal court judge, Richard Diment is able to apply his broad experience to wide-ranging legal matters. Diment began his legal career with a mid-sized Atlanta firm practicing plaintiff's personal injury law and defending tort liability claims for insurers. In 1987, Diment co-founded Prince & Diment, P.C., a general practice firm in Carrollton, Georgia, where Diment continued his plaintiff's personal injury work and broadened his practice to include real estate, matrimonial, and criminal law. While with the firm, Diment was appointed judge for several local municipalities.

During the mid 1990's, Diment co-founded and led a real estate investment company concentrating on purchasing properties at tax sales throughout Georgia. Diment served as president of the company until 1999, when he sold his interest and returned to private practice as a partner with the firm now known as Diment Carroll LLP. On behalf of the firm, Diment has successfully litigated or negotiated to conclusion personal injury claims and matters in all areas of real estate law, including those involving tax sales, attorney defalcations, and agent errors and omissions. Through his representation of several title insurance companies, Diment has successfully resolved hundreds of title claims, from simple to significantly complex.
