Dick, William S.

David is a South Florida native with a primary practice area in Commercial and Bankruptcy litigation. A proud honors alumnus of St. Thomas High School with a family history of devotion to the practice of law, David pursued a Bachelors and Masters degree from Florida State University before receiving a Juris Doctorate from Nova Southeastern University's Shepard Broad Law Center.

Prior to forming David A. Ray, P.A., he invested six years learning the intricacies of financial law by working with a number of well known and highly regarded South Florida law firms. Yielding extremely successful results in state and federal courts, David honed the skills necessary to confidently move forward in his profession to preside over his own practice exclusively focusing on the area of bankruptcy and related litigation.

Amongst other distinctions, David has served as the Executive Editor of Nova Southeastern University's Law Review and written articles regarding the fine points of financial law. He was honored to be designated as a Florida Rising Star in 2010 and 2011, a merit bestowed on less than 2.5% of the leading attorneys in the state following careful peer review and independent evaluation of credentials and practices. His selection for this esteemed list was made by the legal research team at Super Lawyers, which is a service of the Thomson Reuters Legal division.
