Richard is a former state assistant attorney general and law clerk for the Rhode Island Supreme Court who brings extensive civil and criminal litigation experience to the firm. Richard has tried cases in the state and federal courts of both Massachusetts and Rhode Island. For the last three years, he has been named a Rhode Island Super Lawyer in the area of general litigation.
Richard is a member of numerous professional and civic organizations. He is Secretary of the Federal Bar Association, RI Chapter and an elected member of the Executive Committee of the Rhode Island Bar Association. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Pro Bono Collaborative, an organization that coordinates Rhode Island law firms, law students, and community organizations in providing legal assistance within the community. He has served as Chair of the Criminal Law Bench Bar Committee of the Rhode Island Bar Association.
