Mr. Dewan graduated from Santa Clara University School of Law. He holds a Juris Doctorate and a Master of Law in Federal Criminal Defense Trial Advocacy. Mr. Dewan specializes in criminal defense practice. He has handled a variety of criminal cases, including: battery, assault, murder, criminal/terrorist threats, rape, child molestation, and fraud. He also represents clients for alleged violations of probation.
Mr. Dewan represents clients charged with DUI. When representing a client charged with a DUI crime, Mr. Dewan handles both the criminal court appearances, as well as the necessary DMV hearings and procedures.
Mr. Dewan has additional training in criminal defense trial advocacy. After graduating from law school, he was further trained for criminal trial practice. He worked with, and was trained by, former Federal Public Defenders, including the former Chief Trial Attorney for the San Diego Federal Public Defender's Office.
Mr. Dewan represents clients in the Bay Area and the Central Valley, in both State and Federal courts.
