Dena George practices primarily in the area of employment law, concentrating her practice on the representation of individuals in sexual harassment and employment discrimination cases as well as state tort and contract claims. She also provides counseling to individual clients and negotiates severance agreements. She has successfully litigated cases under various civil rights laws, including Title VII, 42 U.S.C. 1981, the Family Medical Leave Act, the ADEA, and Sarbanes Oxley.
She also serves by appointment as a Guardian ad Litem for children in contested custody disputes. She is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, the Atlanta Bar Association, the National Employment Lawyers Association, the Stonewall Bar Association, and the Georgia Association for Women Lawyers. Prior to joining Buckley & Klein LLP, she litigated civil cases on behalf of low income individuals at the Atlanta Legal Aid Society and Georgia Legal Services. She received her B.A. magna cum laude, from Georgia State University and her J.D. magna cum laude from the University of Georgia.
