William P. Deni, Sr. has over thirty years of experience in a wide range of legal areas including: litigation, family, and criminal/juvenile Law. Mr. Deni serves clients throughout the State of New Jersey.
From 1972 to 1973, Mr. Deni served as law clerk to the Honorable Thomas J. Beetel and the Honorable Warren A. Herrigel, Superior Court of New Jersey. While serving his clerkship for the only two judges presiding in the vicinage of Hunterdon County, he was introduced to various types of legal matters.
From 1973 to 1975 Mr. Deni served as Assistant Prosecutor and New Jersey Deputy Attorney General. While maintaining a full-time law practice, Mr. Deni served as legal counsel to the Republican State Assembly between 1975 and 1978; and then as legal counsel to Senator Walter E. Foran from 1978 to 1986. Mr. Deni was involved in the formulation of The Model Criminal Code of New Jersey as legal counsel with the Assembly.
As a young attorney, Mr. Deni became interested in Family Law while working with the Legal Aid Society of Hunterdon County.
Since 1972, Mr. Deni has been legal counsel to men and women in all areas of family law and accepts referrals from other attorneys in the New York-New Jersey Metropolitan area. He has handled many high profile and complex cases dealing with custody, alimony and equitable distribution of property. At present he is honored to be a Master in the Family Inn of Court of New Jersey.
Mr. Deni serves as an Early Settlement Panelist in Hunterdon County Family Court, and has been selected by Judges and Attorneys to act as a Blue Ribbon Panelist on complex divorces.
