Chad Gates, a Venice native, received his B.B.A. in finance from Ohio University in 1990 and his law degree from Capital University in 1993. After graduation, he initially practiced law in Fort Lauderdale, FL. In 1996, Chad returned to Sarasota where he continued his practice in real estate, banking and business law. Prior to joining the Band Law Group, Chad was a partner for many years with a larger Sarasota firm.
Chad specializes in real estate law and focuses on the representation of buyers and sellers of residential and commercial real estate, as well as the representation of developers and lenders. He also advises clients on the structuring of complex real estate ventures and loans.
