Ms. Garber joined Ansa Assuncao in September 2011. Ms. Garber’s diverse civil practice is nationwide in scope and includes the defense of personal injury claims as well as product liability and commercial disputes. Her representative clients include transportation, manufacturing, elevator and escalator companies for whom she defends wrongful death, catastrophic personal injury, and property damage claims.
Ms. Garber earned her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in 2011. While at Penn Law, Ms. Garber was an Associate Editor for the Penn Law Journal of International Law. She also was a Penn Law Morris Fellow, acting as orientation assistant and advisor for incoming students; she advised incoming international students as well, as an LL.M. International Mentor and Orientation Assistant. Ms. Garber was Vice President of the Animal Law Project, and received a Pro Bono Service Award upon graduation for her work. She was also a member of the Penn Law International Law Organization and Penn Law Women’s Association. During law school, Ms. Garber worked part-time at a local Philadelphia law firm as a law clerk, during which she authored various articles on complex litigation issues which were published by the American Bar Association’s Litigation website.
Ms. Garber also earned her Certificate in Business and Public Policy from The Wharton School in 2011.
Before entering law school, Ms. Garber earned her Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, from Bryn Mawr College, with a history major and a minor in Italian language and cultural studies. Ms. Garber spent a semester abroad in Rome, Italy, as she pursued her undergraduate studies.
