Mr. Price is an experienced litigator who concentrates his practice in complex commercial litigation, including contract, business tort, and employment disputes. Before joining Brooks Wilkins Sharkey & Turco, Mr. Price was a shareholder at Hyman Lippitt, P.C. Mr. Price previously served as a judicial law clerk to Justice Marilyn J. Kelley of the Michigan Supreme Court, and as a pre-hearing attorney for the Michigan Court of Appeals.
Recent Experience Includes:
- Obtained preliminary injunctive relief enforcing non-compete agreements against former employees
- Successfully defended at trial an automotive manufacturer against $27 million dollar suit based on breach of contract and quasi-contract claims
- Obtained $4.6 million dollar judgment on behalf of property management company on breach of fiduciary duty and embezzlement claims after previously obtaining emergency injunctive relief
- Arbitrated dispute that resulted in nearly $1 million arbitration award in favor of automotive manufacturer
- Successfully defended corporate employers against variety of employment claims
- Successfully defended at trial a local social club against contract and business tort claims brought by entertainer
