Bob Gallaway's practice of more than twenty-five years emphasizes business, general tax counseling, tax litigation and estate planning. Bob is an active speaker in taxation matters before various groups and continuing professional education organizations.
Bob earned his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Davis. He then attended the Hastings College of Law, where received his law degree. Following law school, Bob traveled east to attend Georgetown University, where he received his Masters of Law in Taxation.
Immediately following law school, Bob spent three years as a trial attorney with the United States Army in Europe. He then returned to Washington D.C., where he served as an appellate attorney. After Bob completed his time in the service, he segued into private practice.
Between 1981 and 1994, Bob was a faculty member of Golden Gate University Graduate School of Taxation, where he taught numerous courses, including Taxation of Partnerships, Taxation of Corporations and Shareholders and Taxation of Capital Gains and Property Transfers. In 1990, he was named "Outstanding Faculty Member" at Golden Gate University.
Bob lives in Camarillo with his wife, a retired History Professor.
