Ms. Previte joined the firm after working with the family law firm of Donahue, Hagan, Klein, Newsome & O'Donnell, PC. Ms. Previte is a former Family Law Clerk to the Honorable Roger W. Daley, Superior Court Judge in Middlesex County. Prior to attending law school, she worked as a financial aid advisor at DeVry University where she obtained valuable experience she uses to assist clients with child support matters related to college expenses.
Ms. Previte focuses her practice on divorce litigation including post-judgment matters involving alimony, child support and equitable distribution issues. Ms. Previte has experience working on matters involving complex issues related to distribution of New Jersey Public Employees Retirement System pensions as well as New Jersey Police and Fireman's pensions.
Ms. Previte successfully litigated a post-divorce matter in which a supported spouse was able to continue receiving alimony from a former spouse despite cohabiting with a significant other. In a more recent multi-day trial, Ms. Previte was successful in modifying a $15,000 per month alimony payment to $3,500 per month.
Ms. Previte has also been successful in resolving numerous matters involving disputes relating to college expenses. Ms. Previte successfully limited an obligor's contribution to the college expenses at an out-of-state school to an amount based upon an in-state school. On a similar matter, Ms. Previte was successful in securing a significant contribution towards the cost of all college-related expenses at an out-of-state university.
Ms. Previte is a member of the Family Law Committee of the Hunterdon County Bar Association. She is also resides in Middlesex County where she continues to be involved in the legal community.
