Davis, Carla B.

Dave Davis is a founding partner of Davis, Bucco & Ardizzi. Having been engaged in the practice of construction and labor law for over twenty-five years, Dave represents a wide range of construction industry parties, including: contractors, suppliers, design professionals, private owners and developers, consultants, construction managers, sureties, construction lenders and public owners.

Dave is an adjunct professor at Drexel University teaching contracts and specifications.
In addition to his work at Drexel, he has taught construction law at Penn State University and contracts at Montgomery County Community College. Dave frequently conducts seminars and programs for trade associations on an extensive list of topics. In particular, he has developed programs which cover: change order management; understanding contract documents and AIA contract documents; legal relationships between contractors and suppliers; insurance law for contractors; public contract law in Pennsylvania; differing site conditions, delay claims and claims management; document management; labor and material payment bonds; mechanic's liens; OSHA citation procedures; and alternative dispute resolution.

Dave is a certified arbitrator with the American Arbitration Association and has participated as an arbitrator and mediator in numerous disputes between construction parties. He currently holds the positions of general counsel for the Associated Builders and Contractors Southeast PA Chapter and solicitor for the Firemen's Union & Relief Association of Norristown. In addition, Dave is an active participating member of the American Institute of Architects Philadelphia Chapter and the Associated Builders and Contractors New Jersey Chapter. Dave is also a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Montgomery Bar Association.

Dave attended Rutgers University and New England School of Law in Boston, Massachusetts. He devotes time in the community having served on the Board of Directors of the MARC Foundation and currently serving as the Chairman of the Board of the Pathway School in Jeffersonville, P.A.
