Davis, Brian R.

Receiving his legal training at a top ten program for intellectual property law in the United States, Mr. Powers is a graduate of Michigan State University College of Law.  In addition to earning his Juris Doctorate, Mr. Powers holds dual specialty certifications from Michigan State University College of Law in Corporate Law and Communications & Intellectual Property Law. 

Mr. Powers is experienced in transactional business law, transactional intellectual property law, wills and estates, and litigation support.  He has handled various intellectual property law issues ranging from patent licensing, patent assignment, product manufacture quality control licensing, and trade secret assignment. In addition, Mr. Powers has worked as a contract attorney in Washington, D.C. with several AmLaw 100 international firms. Through his education and experience Mr. Powers has gained both the knowledge and the cunning necessary to provide world class legal service to his clients.

To further his legal experience, Mr. Powers participated as a mentor and worked in the MSU College of Law Small Business & Nonprofit Clinic where he worked with small businesses and nonprofit organizations with the drafting of organizational documents, drafting of contractual agreements, commercial and nonprofit corporate governance, and intellectual property considerations.

A native Floridian, Mr. Powers enjoys spending time on the ocean, watching college football, traveling and spending time with his family and friends.
