R. Craig Fry is a partner with the firm and a member of the business department. He joined the firm in 1980. Mr. Fry focuses his practice primarily in the areas of corporate and business law, mergers and acquisitions, securities law, business financing, and general real estate practice.
Over the years, Mr. Fry has developed a diverse business practice. He advises clients in complex business transactions, acquisitions and sales of businesses, organization of business entities, and joint ventures among strategic partners. He has experience in structuring business acquisitions of all types, including asset acquisitions, stock purchases and purchases of other equity interests, and mergers and reorganizations. In addition, he provides assistance to clients in obtaining financing for business acquisitions and working capital.
In his securities law practice, Mr. Fry has extensive experience representing both public and private corporations. He represents clients in all facets of security law including public offerings, private placements, registration of employee plan securities, and preparation of proxy statements and periodic reports for reporting companies.
Mr. Fry has a significant real estate practice which includes representation of clients owning and developing shopping centers and office buildings and financing commercial real estate transactions. He also assists clients with commercial leasing, townhome development, and custom home building matters.
Mr. Fry received his Bachelor of Science with high distinction from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln in 1977. He received his Juris Doctor from the University of Nebraska College of Law in 1980.
Mr. Fry is a member of the Nebraska State Bar Association.
