Richard E. Freeman III practices in the areas of commercial litigation, commercial transactions, real estate, probate and estate administration, elder law and estate planning and family law.
Mr. Freeman received his Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School where he earned awards in the areas of public service, international commercial arbitration and international and foreign law research. He received a Master of Arts, Advanced Certificate and Bachelor of Arts from Fordham University. Mr. Freeman is admitted to practice law in New York State Supreme Court and the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York. He is an active member of the New York State Bar Association and Richmond County Bar Association.
Prior to joining Angiuli & Gentile LLP, Mr. Freeman spent several years at a private firm practicing in the areas of commercial and real property litigation. He also served as the Managing Editor for the Interdisciplinary Journal of Human Rights Laws and was awarded a fellowship grant to work at the United Nations, Office of Legal Affairs. Prior to that time, Mr. Freeman worked for a year in the General Counsel's office of Elizabeth Arden.
