Robin L. Frank graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in psychology and sociology.   She worked on several research projects studying interactions between family members, which focused on the importance of communicating effectively in order to achieve family goals.  This is a skill that serves her well and which she continues to emphasize in her legal practice.  Her work on these projects continued during law school at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law and ultimately led to her interest in family law.

Attorney Frank has served as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) which aids the court in juvenile court matters involving families.  This has helped to further her understanding of the unique challenges presented in family law and juvenile court proceedings.

Ms. Frank joined Raphael, Ramsden & Behers in order to concentrate her legal practice in all types of family law matters.   Her prior experience at a general practice firm included a diverse caseload that included bankruptcy and consumer matters, landlord-tenant matters, personal injury matters, and estate planning matters.  She is experienced in handling numerous family law cases involving support, custody, protection from abuse, adoption, grandparents’ rights, and equitable distribution issues, in Allegheny County and other counties.

At the University of Pittsburgh, Ms. Frank had interesting and diverse opportunities.  She had the opportunity to travel the country for numerous college sporting events as a member of the University of Pittsburgh Varsity Marching Band.  Based on this experience, she worked with members of the Student Government Board to create a student organization dedicated to giving students and fans the best experience possible at University of Pittsburgh games.  Her work in developing this organization led to an internship with the University of Pittsburgh Department of Athletics and as a result, she later became a proud recipient of the George Carson Fellowship.  The work of the organization was also recognized nationally when the University of Pittsburgh received the NCAA Division 1-A Athletics Directors Association's "Sportsmanship Recognition Award" in 2006.

Ms. Frank is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Allegheny County Bar Association, as well as the ACBA Family Law Section, Sports Law Committee and the Young Lawyers’ Division.  She participates as a volunteer attorney for both the Allegheny County "Save Your Home" Foreclosure Conciliation program and the Greater Pittsburgh Arts Council's Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts program.  Her ongoing community involvement includes serving as a Civic Light Opera Ambassador and participating in programs coordinated by the University of Pittsburgh's "Panther Game Plan" to help guide student-athletes with interests in legal careers.
