Margaret Cullum went to Columbia University in New York for her undergraduate degree, and she received her J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law in 2011. She was admitted to the California bar in December 2011. Margaret has clerked for several public defender offices throughout the United States, including the Los Angeles County Office of the Public Defender. Margaret considers her greatest achievement to date to be her contributions to the efforts that resulted in the re-sentencing and release of two three-strike offenders who were, until recently, serving life in prison without the possibility of parole. More than anything, Margaret loves trying cases. She will tell you that she "lives for trial."
