Ms. Foster graduated magna cum laude from Tulane Law School in 2004, where she served as an Articles Editor for the Tulane Law Review and was awarded the Hunley Award for Excellence in the Study of Health Law. Upon graduation from law school, Ms. Foster received a Certificate in Civil Law Studies and was inducted into the Order of the Coif. Prior to attending law school, Ms. Foster earned a Master of Arts degree in Philosophy from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, where she concentrated in the field of Medical Ethics. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from Louisiana State University. Prior to joining Sullivan Stolier Knight LC, Ms. Foster was an associate at the New Orleans firm of Sher Garner Cahill Richter Klein & Hilbert, L.L.C. Her current practice includes all aspects of healthcare contracting, business formation, regulatory compliance, and government healthcare program reimbursement. She has assisted with the successful appeal of Medicare claims denials before Medicare contractors and administrative law judges. Ms. Foster has been a featured speaker for the Tennessee Philosophical Association and in 2010 she presented "Understanding HIPAA" for the 2010 Lorman Medical Records Seminar.
