Steven has extensive experience handling both trial and appellate matters in high-exposure and high-profile cases for physicians, hospitals, professional liability insurance carriers, general liability insurance carriers and automobile insurance carriers. He is frequently asked by clients and industry organizations to lecture on a variety of topics concerning  risk management and other legal topics affecting the health care industry.

He is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania, New York and West Virginia.  Steven has had primary responsibility for jury and non-jury trials in both state and federal courts in multiple jurisdictions.  In 2006, Steven was named in a survey of his peers as a Pennsylvania "Rising Star" attorney by Law & Politics magazine. 

Steven received his B.A. in 1991 from The Pennsylvania State University and his J.D. in 1994 from Ohio Northern University.  Steven is also admitted to appear before the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, the United States District Court for the Northern and Southern Districts of West Virginia, The Second and Third Judicial Departments in New York and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
