Douglas A. Pierce graduated from Assumption College in Worcester, Massachusetts, in 1988. He received a Masters in Education from the University of Missouri in 1996. Doug gained valuable life experience as a Shop Steward for United Parcel Service, a high school social studies teacher, and as a College and Graduate adjunct professor at Washington State University. Doug earned his Law Degree from Western New England College School of Law in 2002. While at Western New England College School of Law he was selected to represent the school at the National Moot Court Competitor. Doug is currently admitted to practice in both Washington State and Idaho, and the Federal Courts in the Eastern District of Washington and the State of Idaho. Doug’s practice emphasizes litigation; focusing on family law, criminal law, general business law and employment law. He also handles many personal and business bankruptcies in both eastern Washington and northern Idaho. In addition to his private practice, Doug served as the Whitman County District Court Commissioner and remains an ASTAR Resource Judge for the State of Washington. Doug also recently completed a traffic course at the National Judicial College focusing on DUI laws.
