Emily Crain was born in Tacoma, Washington. She graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2008 with degrees in History and Journalism, and from the University of Tulsa in 2011 with a Juris Doctorate. During Law School, Mrs. Crain was a member of the Board of Advocates, serving as Vice-President from 2010 to 2011. Mrs. Crain served as an officer for Phi Delta Phi from 2010 to 2011. Mrs. Crain was a student member of the Counsel Oak Johnson Sontag American Inn of Court from 2010 to 2011. Mrs. Crain joined The Ritchie Law Firm in 2012 after leaving her solo practice.
