Kraig Peterson is a senior associate in the Real Estate Practice Group. He joined the firm in 2008. Mr. Peterson’s practice focuses primarily on leasing, financing, development, private equity, acquisition and disposition of real property.
Practice
Mr. Peterson’s transactional experience includes working for real estate, fund formation, bankruptcy, and labor and employment clients. He has experience negotiating and drafting office leases, purchase and sale agreements, loan documents, legislation, conveyancing documents, architect and contractor agreements, and oil and gas leases. He has conducted extensive research on real estate private equity, and he works extensively with the Fund Formation Group.
During law school, Mr. Peterson was a research assistant for Professor Gerald Leonard, contributing to a study on appellate court decisions involving federal sentencing guidelines. Prior to law school, Mr. Peterson interned at the United States Attorney’s Office in Washington DC, assisting federal prosecutors in felony drug court.
