Jennifer Flannery practices principally in the areas of product liability and insurance coverage litigation. Jennifer's product liability representations have included cases relating to paints and paint pigments, tobacco products, and medical devices. Jennifer has appeared in state and federal courts throughout the United States and has participated in mediations.

Jennifer has defended clients in cases involving complex legal issues such as risk contribution, market share and other collective liability theories, public nuisance, medical monitoring, duty to warn, conspiracy, and liability for trade association activities. She has extensive experience in case coordination across multiple jurisdictions, working with joint defense groups, and electronic case/document management. Jennifer has worked with a wide variety of experts including historians, chemists, medical doctors, toxicologists, psychologists, and economists. Currently, she is a member of the Jones Day team that serves as national coordinating counsel and trial counsel in the lead paint and pigments product liability litigation.

Jennifer has coauthored a chapter of the 1996, 1997, 1998, and 1999 Pennsylvania Bar Institute's Environmental Law Forum publication, which outlined the basic principles and controlling case law in environmental insurance coverage in Pennsylvania. She also coauthored "Traps For the Unwary: Why Counsel Should Think Twice Before Joining Additional Parties in Civil Litigation," an article published in the Duquesne Law Review Spring 1998 edition. The article analyzed the strategic implications of joining third parties in civil litigation in Pennsylvania.

She is a member of the Pennsylvania and Ohio State Bar Associations.
