Lynda Fitzpatrick is a member of the firm's Intellectual Property Practice Group. Dr. Fitzpatrick's practice is focused on patent drafting, prosecution and portfolio management. She also has counseled clients regarding patent infringement and patent validity determinations, has conducted patent landscaping, and has provided litigation support.

Dr. Fitzpatrick has a technical background in biochemistry and concentrates her practice in the life science, chemistry and biotechnology areas. She has extensive prosecution experience in such subjects as plants and agricultural products, enzyme based technologies, genes and proteins, library constructs and improved PCR.

She also has experience in protecting inventions relating to biological research tools and cellular and molecular signaling. Other areas of experience relate to pharmaceuticals and methods of disease treatment. She has prosecuted patents in technology areas including nanotechnology, ink formulations and printing technologies, food products, food additives and coatings.
