Earl Perry specializes in tort and corporate business litigation. He has years of experience working in the public sector while continuing a private practice. For close to fifteen years, by appointment of the Louisiana Attorney General, Mr. Perry served as a special assistant attorney general for the State of Louisiana, defending cases against the state's Department of Transportation, Labor and other state agencies.
By appointment of the Mayor of the City of New Orleans, Mr. Perry has also served as an administrative law judge, adjudicating city code violations. He also worked as a deputy city attorney offering legal advice and representation in the connection with matters involving the Department of Health.
Prior to working in the public sector, Mr. Perry was general counsel for Ogden-Perry Theatres, Inc., representing all corporate matters for the New Orleans-based movie chain.
Mr. Perry obtained his law degree as well as a B.A. in history from Tulane University. He also serves as a civil counsel to Tulane University students, faculty and staff in connection with the Tulane Legal Assistance Program.
