Corwin, Scott J.

Maria Perez Youngblood is an associate attorney for the Firm and practices in the areas of family law, education law, administrative law, and civil law.   Although she and her three younger sisters were raised in Gainesville, Florida, she has spent a significant amount of time in her parents’ native home of Puerto Rico.  Mrs. Youngblood speaks fluently in Spanish.  She attended P.K. Yonge Developmental Research school where she met and ultimately married her high school sweetheart who is also an attorney for the Firm.

Mrs. Youngblood received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Florida and her Juris Doctor from the Florida Coastal School of Law.  While in law school, Mrs. Youngblood participated in the Family and Juvenile Law Live Legal Clinic representing indigent clients in family law matters.  Prior to joining the Firm, she worked as an associate attorney for a law firm in Jacksonville, Florida.  There, she focused and gained experience on complex contested and uncontested dissolution of marriages, uncontested adoptions, modifications, and child support issues.  She is proud to be back in the Swamp and a part of the amazing community in Gainesville.
