As a principle in Dunlap Fiore, LLC, Ms. Fiore specializes in construction law, business law, litigation as well as labor and employment law. Ms. Fiore is a committee member of the American Bar Association’s Fidelity and Surety Law Committee - Construction Law Subdivision and ad was a presenter at the 2012 Midwinter meeting. 

Ms. Fiore’s construction law practice includes representation of regional, national, and international clients in all phases of the construction industry. Some typical construction problems encountered are withheld payments, lien claims, defective work, defective design, delay claims, and claims for additional work.   Ms. Fiore represents major building contractors and subcontractors in all trades and has been actively involved in negotiations with project owners, creditors, and financially troubled contractors during all stages of the construction process. Ms. Fiore has handled all matters concerning default, project completion, and financing arrangements. Ms. Fiore has experience in contracting issues involving the Federal Acquisition Regulation and has assisted clients with compliance of the Federal Contractor ethics rules. 

Through her experience as a labor and employment attorney, Ms. Fiore has lectured, counseled and litigated extensively in a wide variety of areas of employment and civil rights law.  Ms. Fiore provides employers advice on policies and procedures for employee handbooks, hiring, counseling and separation of employees, employee discipline, employee growth and development, non-compete agreements, compensation plans and strategies, restructuring and downsizing, EEO, FLSA, FMLA, ADA and general federal and state legal compliance as well as general policies and procedures in the workplace.

Ms. Fiore serves as a Special Assistant Attorney General for the State of Louisiana representing the State in both litigation and regulatory matters.  She has handled bid disputes, risk litigation, and civil rights litigation.

Ms. Fiore has served as bond counsel in the issuance of Louisiana Local Government Environmental Facilities and Community Development Authority Revenue Bonds.  She is listed in the "Bond Buyer's Municipal Marketplace" (the Red Book) as nationally recognized Bond Counsel.
