Ms. Cormier's practice focuses on complex civil litigation involving a range of matters, including corporate, commercial, securities, employment, and appellate cases. She also served as a law clerk for the former Chief Judge Edward Nottingham and, subsequently, as an emergency clerk to Federal District Court for the District of Colorado Judges Christine Arguello, Robert Blackburn, Wiley Daniel, and Marcia Krieger. Ms. Cormier has also practiced at global law firms in San Francisco and Denver.
Ms. Cormier has extensive experience in securities, employment, intellectual property, and general commercial litigation. Before attending law school, Ms. Cormier was an equities trader, which led to significant experience in corporate matters, including initial and secondary securities offerings, SEC internal investigations, antitrust and securities matters.
Ms. Cormier has acted pro bono as guardian ad litem with the Rocky Mountain Children’s Law Center, as an immigration advocate with the Rocky Mountain Survivor Center, and as a representative with the ACLU in a prisoner rights matter.
