David Peralta is an associate at Butler Viadro, LLP. His practice focuses on the litigation of personal injury cases arising out serious accidents ranging from automotive to industrial, including workers’ compensation and disability cases where applicable, and wage and hour claims on behalf of workers who have been denied their workplace rights. Before joining Butler Viadro, Mr. Peralta worked on the prosecution of securities fraud class actions at the leading plaintiffs’ securities firm in the country.
Mr. Peralta earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in English, with a minor in History, from Saint Mary’s College of California in 2003, and his Juris Doctor degree from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in 2006. During law school Mr. Peralta traveled extensively in Europe while studying Public and Private International Law and earned a Certificate in Global Legal Studies. During law school and after, Mr. Peralta performed a significant amount of pro bono work on behalf of victims of domestic violence through the San Diego Volunteer Lawyer Program. He also successfully represented two Somali refugees in asylum proceedings through Casa Cornelia Law Center.
Mr. Peralta is a member of the San Francisco Trial Lawyers Association and is admitted to the State Bar of California and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California.
