Sheri D. Coover was employed at various positions by the Cumberland County Courthouse from 1995 to 2001. During her employment there, Ms. Coover went through a divorce and decided that it was in the best interest of herself and her four children to her to pursue her education at that time. While working full-time, Ms. Coover earned an Associate of Arts degree in Paralegal Studies from the Harrisburg Area Community College in 1999. In 2001, Ms. Coover earned a bachelor of Science degree in Political Studies from the Pennsylvania State University.
Ms. Coover pursued her law degree from Pennsylvania State University at their Dickinson campus in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. During her studies there, Ms. Coover was a member of the Pennsylvania State University Environmental Law Review. Ms. Coover graduated from law school in 2004 and obtained her license to practice law from the sate of Pennsylvania that year.
Ms. Coover started her own law practice in 2004. From 2004 until 2008, Ms. Coover contracted with a law firm that concentrated on civil rights. In 2008, Ms. Coover moved her law office to the Carlisle area where her primary practice focused on family law and criminal law. Ms. Coover is admitted to practice law in the Eastern, Middle and Western District of Pennsylvania. She has represented clients in the Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, Lebanon, Perry and York Courthouses.
Ms. Coover joined the law firm of Scaringi & Scaringi, P.C. in June of 2011. She continues to focus her practice on family law and criminal law.
During her time away from the office, Ms. Coover enjoys attending sporting events, doing arts and crafts and gardening. Ms. Coover actively volunteers with various organizations in the Central Pennsylvania area to promote youth wrestling. She currently resides in the Carlisle area with her children.
