Robert D. Fetter graduated with a law degree and an M.B.A. with a focus in Industrial Relations from Wayne State University in May of 2005.
While in school, he served as an intern to Honorable Victoria Roberts at the Federal District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. He also participated as a member of the Wayne State University Law School Moot Court.
Robert's practice focuses on representing employees and their unions in disputes against their employers. He litigates cases in the State and federal courts. He also litigates unfair labor practices before the National Labor Relations Board and the Michigan Employment Relations Commission. He has also represented clients with claims before other governmental agencies including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Michigan Civil Rights Commission, the Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Growth, and the U.S. Department of Labor. Robert has also successfully arbitrated many cases.
Through civil cases, administrative proceedings, and arbitrations, Robert has recovered several million dollars in judgments, settlements, and awards on behalf of his clients.
