Robert is a litigator with more than 12 years of experience in trial level and appellate work. He earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from Hofstra University in 1990 and a juris doctor from St. John's University School of Law in 1997. Robert was admitted to the New York State Bar in 1998, and thereafter to the federal district courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. Although he has been a general practitioner, previous practice concentrations involve the following: general tort liability; commercial and real estate litigation; civil rights litigation defending police officers and municipalities against allegations of misconduct; trusts and estates law, probate and administration, will contests, breach of fiduciary duty claims, petitions to remove trustees, contested accountings, discovery proceedings and guardianship proceedings. With the firm, Robert specializes in complex multi-party construction litigation involving the New York State Labor Law and Industrial Code, contractual indemnification issues and interrelated insurance coverage matters.
