Allison began her career at CIELSA & CIESLA, P.C. in 2012 with experience as a litigation attorney. Her background includes work in domestic relations, probate, estate planning and real estate law. Prior to joining CIESLA & CIESLA, Allison was the principal in her own firm. Allison has successfully negotiated settlements and litigated disputes involving contested adult and child guardianships, custody, support, division of property, and proceedings for injunctive relief. In 2010, Allison began receiving appointments by the Cook County Circuit Court in minor guardianship cases.
Allison received her Bachelor’s Degree with Honors from DePaul University in Finance, and her Juris Doctor from The John Marshall Law School. While in law school, under a 711 license, Allison worked for the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office. Prior to that, she clerked for the Honorable Mark Lopez in the Circuit Court of Cook County, Illinois and worked as a law clerk for the Cook County Public Gaurdian’s Office.
Allison acts as a volunteer with Chicago Volunteer Legal Services, providing pro bono representation in divorce cases.
