Peter was born in Pasadena, California. He was admitted to the State Bar of California in 1978, and the United States District Court for the Central District of California in 1982. Peter obtained a Bachelors of Arts Degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 1972. He obtained his Juris Doctor from Southwestern University in 1978. He is a member of the Defense Research Institute and the Association of Southern California Defense Counsel. Since 1995 he has been a guest lecturer on Evidence at Loyola Law School. Peter has tried over twenty Superior Court cases to jury verdict, in areas as diverse as products liability, premises liability and automobile accidents.
