Vladimir Favilukis is an associate at Belkin Burden Wenig & Goldman, LLP. Mr. Favilukis joined the firm as a Summer Associate after his first year of law school and worked at the firm on a part-time basis while attending law school at Brooklyn Law. He earned his Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School in the Spring of 2006.

Since joining the firm, Mr. Favilukis has specialized in the various regulations that govern and relate to New York City real estate, with a particular emphasis on the New York City Rent Stabilization Code, Administrative Code, Loft Law and Zoning Resolution, as well as tax benefit programs such as the "421-a," "421-g" and "J-51" abatements. Mr. Favilukis has headed the due diligence review for numerous purchases of multi-family, mixed-use and "loft" properties.

Mr. Favilukis' practice also heavily involves administrative litigation, where he has represented owners in complex litigation with such agencies as the New York State Division of Housing Community and Renewal (DHCR), the New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD), the New York City Department of Buildings (DOB), the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DOH), the New York City Environmental Control Board (ECB), the New York City Department of Finance (DOF), the New York City Board of Standards and Appeals (BSA) and the New York City Planning Commission (CPC).

Prior to joining the firm as a full-time associate in 2006, and concurrently with working part-time at the firm, Mr. Favilukis also interned with the New York City chapter of the Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts.

Mr. Favilukis is fluent in Russian and is a member of both, the New York State and New Jersey State Bars.
