Christian Parrish is currently a partner at the law firm of Powell & Parrish, P.C. Mr. Parrish graduated from James Madison University in 1994 with a major in Political Science and two minors in Criminal Justice and Psychology. Mr. Parrish joined the firm after his graduation from the University of Richmond, T. C. Williams School of Law in Richmond, Virginia, in 1999. Mr. Parrish was then admitted to the Virginia State Bar later that year.
Between college and law school, Mr. Parrish worked as the Head Paralegal in the New York City law firm of Coleman & Rhine, where he assisted in the preparation for major civil and securities litigation.
As his responsibilities in the Firm have increased, Mr. Parrish skillfully applies a wealth of experience in handling a variety of personal injury cases, such as slip and fall, automobile and tractor-trailer accidents, and wrongful death claims. His civil litigation cases also include representation of claimants and employers in workers' compensation claims. Additionally, Mr. Parrish represents individuals with criminal and traffic charges, ranging from misdemeanor to felony cases. As the firm has evolved, Mr. Parrish has been a principal architect of the firm's immigration initiative in conjunction with criminal representation.
Mr. Parrish is currently a member of the Virginia State Bar as well as the Chesterfield Bar Association, Virginia Trial Lawyers Association, American Association for Justice, and the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
