Jacob is admitted to practice in Minnesota state and federal courts. He is a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association (MSBA) and the Hennepin County Bar Association, where he volunteers as a liaison to the various law schools in the Twin Cities metro region. Jacob is also very active in community and civic activities. He serves as Philanthropy Chair for the TwinWest Chamber of Commerce - Leadership TwinWest Council, and is Education Chair of Northwest Suburban BNI. He is a member of the Steering Committee for Minnesota Mobile Dental Clinics, and volunteers for the Armatage (Minneapolis) Neighborhood Association.
Born in Pipestone, Minnesota, Jacob received his B.A. from the University of Minnesota, summa cum laude, as a double major in classics and journalism. He received his law degree from the University of Minnesota Law School where he earned a fellowship with the Silha Center for the Study of Media Ethics and Law. Prior to joining Henningson & Snoxell in 2011, Jacob practiced law with a firm in Eagan, Minnesota. He and his wife reside in Minneapolis.
