Sometimes this can be achieved through pre-litigation settlement efforts, such as negotiations between attorneys and/or mediation. This occurs before a lawsuit is filed with the court. When pre-litigation settlement efforts are not successful, Ms. Farris is fully prepared to take aggressive legal action on behalf of her clients, such as filing a lawsuit with the court or filing for arbitration in the event a valid arbitration agreement exists. Please be aware, however, that not all cases are appropriate for litigation for various reasons. Ms. Farris makes that determination on a case-by-case basis.
