Kristin specializes in environmental, health and safety matters and her practice includes litigation, counseling, corporate transactions, and agency proceedings where environmental, health and safety issues arise. Kristin is experienced in analyzing the risks associated with environmental liabilities and has provided environmental transaction support for buyers and sellers of businesses in diverse industry sectors in the United States and abroad. She has advised clients on a wide variety of environmental matters, ranging from air permits to the remediation of contaminated land, at the state and federal levels. She also has been responsible for managing environmental consultants, identifying and evaluating potential environmental costs, negotiating settlements and contract provisions, and drafting a variety of agreements.
In addition, Kristin has experience resolving OSHA citations and representing clients in contested cases involving health and safety claims.
She is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and the Environmental Law Institute.
