Shannon Palaia is an associate in Wiggin and Dana's New Haven office.
As a student at the University of Connecticut School of Law, Shannon participated in the school's Mediation Clinic. Shannon received training in mediation and conflict resolution techniques, then co-mediated small claims cases in Hartford Housing Court and employment discrimination complaints filed with the Connecticut Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities. Shannon also participated in the school's Tax Clinic, where she represented low-income taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service.
Shannon graduated magna cum laude, from Wellesley College with an undergraduate degree in Psychology and Religion. Shannon received her J.D., with honors, from the University of Connecticut School of Law, where she served as Associate Editor of the Connecticut Law Review, earned a certificate in Tax Studies, and received several CALI Excellence awards. Shannon is admitted to practice in Connecticut.
