Marie S. Palmquist, Esquire began in the practice of law after having been in the Health Care field for many years. Her legal experience has been broad throughout her career representing a wide range of clients on various legal problems. Ms. Palmquist is specifically noted for carefully listening to her clients; being frank with them regarding their options; being dedicated to representing their interests; being detail oriented and thorough with an accurate grasp of the facts; being highly prepared for trial; and, knowledgeable concerning how to accomplish the outcomes that her clients seek.

Ms. Palmquist is well known for her thorough, detailed, and aggressive approach in obtaining results for her domestic clients. In many circumstances she has been able to assist her clients in demonstrating that a change in custody is in the best interest of their minor child/children. Marie S. Palmquist has successfully defended alimony claims which can be costly to her clients if not properly defended. On multiple occasions individuals in the courtroom have made an appointment after listening to a court case that Ms. Palmquist is handling.

Having obtained a Master’s Degree in Education and a Master’s Degree in Nursing and working as an administrator, educator, and staff nurse in health care, Ms. Palmquist has a reputation of being able to favorably resolve licensure issues with the State Board of Nursing. Her health care background has also served her well in evaluating and preparing for trial cases involving domestic violence, assaults, and alcohol related driving offenses.

Marie S. Palmquist, Esquire opened her own law firm in 1995 and also worked with several other firms in an Of-Counsel relationship developing expertise co-chairing trials and actively participating in alternative dispute resolution.

Ms. Palmquist has completed training specific to Alternative Dispute Resolution and actively mediates child custody and visitation; marital property; and, civil cases.
