Jessica S. Esterkin is an associate at Broder & Orland LLC. Her practice in the area of family and matrimonial law has included research, appellate and trial experience. Jessica began her career in New York as a lawyer for the Legal Aid Society and subsequently worked at the Children’s Law Center in Los Angeles, California, representing children in child dependency matters.
Jessica is admitted to practice law in Connecticut, New York and California. She is a member of the Fairfield County Bar Association and is co-chair of its Family Law Section. She is also a member of the Connecticut Bar Association. Jessica volunteers her time to the Statewide Legal Services “Mentor-on-Call” program where she acts as a mentor to other lawyers on pro-bono cases. She also assists self-represented parties with family law case issues through the Volunteer Attorney program. Jessica has been appointed by the Stamford Superior Court to serve as a Discovery Special Master.
Jessica Esterkin is a graduate of the James E. Beasley School of Law, Temple University where she was a Public Interest Fellow and also received distinguished class performance awards. She received her undergraduate education from the S.I. Newhouse School of Communications at Syracuse University, where she graduated magna cum laude and was a University Chancellor’s Scholar. She was a member of the Dean’s List all four years of college.
A native of Westchester County, New York, Jessica now resides with her husband and son in Greenwich, Connecticut.
