Luke Closson is a 1966 graduate of the United States Air Force Academy and has been a resident of Valdosta for over 36 years. He was originally assigned as a student pilot at Moody AFB and then as an instructor pilot in the T-38 aircraft. He graduated from Woodrow Wilson College of Law in 1979 Magna Cum Laude and was admitted to both Georgian and Federal Bars. He practices in the areas of Workers Compensation and Social Security disability. He also represents pilots and mechanics in FAA related matters. Mr. Closson is a highly experienced pilot with over 20,000 hours of flying, a certified flight instructor and a licensed A&P mechanic. He has represented claimants at all levels of State and Federal Court as well as all administrative levels with the State Board of Workers Compensation and the Social Security Administration. He is a sustaining member of NOSSCR (Nation Association Claimants Representatives) and the WCCL (Workers Compensation Claimants Lawyers) and has been a speaker at national and state training programs for lawyers.
